What does My Braida take?
15% of your service price, and Stripe’s payment processing fees are included in it, so nothing else is deducted. You keep 85%, plus 100% of your tips. There is no subscription and no sign-up fee.
Do I set my own prices?
Prices are set per style and area by My Braida, so clients see clear prices up front. Every request shows your earning before you accept.
When do I get paid?
When you swipe "Work done", the client's card is charged and your share is transferred. Stripe pays out to your bank daily by default, or weekly or monthly if you prefer.
Do I need to set up Stripe before I start?
No. It takes about 3 minutes, but you can skip it to start. We safely hold everything you earn and pay it out the moment you finish setting up.
What if I miss a request?
You have 10 minutes to accept or decline. An expired request goes to another braida, and that's not held against you.
How long does approval take?
A person on our team reviews your ID, usually within 24 hours. Once approved, you can go online.
I'm outside New York City. Can I join?
